The Programme

The Leadership 101 Programme is likely to be the most important developmental investment that you make in your emerging or current leaders, as it introduces leaders to the realities of leadership. The Leadership 101 Programme builds understanding and expertise in the complex yet critical relationship between effective leadership, engagement, and business outcomes. The Leadership 101 Programme delivers on the why, what and how of leadership in a way that is easily understood, and successfully mastered. No fluff – just the real deal.

The Leadership 101 Programme consist of six half-day modules spread over six months. The programme focuses on practical day-to-day leadership in the workplace, and utilises time-proven and relevant tools and models that work.

Unlike other providers, Team Leader’s Leadership 101 Programme includes a project as part of the follow-up to each module. With a module interval of 4-5 weeks, this enables participants the opportunity to immediately apply their new learning, in their workplace, and not on a simulated activity. Participants then review their experiences and insights with their fellow programme participants at the next module. This provides a powerful learning experience, and assists employers with having faith that there is some accountability placed on participants to realise the benefits of the investment.

The Leadership 101 Programme is designed primarily for those who are about to step up to a leadership role, or have recently been appointed to a leadership role. It is equally relevant to more experienced leaders who have not had a formal grounding in leadership, be they seasoned supervisors, mid-level managers or executives.
